Let me tell ya, traveling with 2 kiddos is no joke! I just got back from a family road trip and I feel like I need a vacation from my vacation! Traveling is fun but it does tend to throw me off my game a little. My body craves the routines of home and smoothies are a part of my daily ritual.

This beautiful Matcha Green Smoothie was exactly the pick-me-up I needed this morning.

I love making smoothies because the flavor combinations and colors are almost endless. They are such a fun and easy way to get creative in the kitchen!

A great smoothie for breakfast or an afternoon pick-me-up.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup JOI nut milk, cashew or almond
  • 1/2 frozen sliced banana
  • 1/2 cup ice
  • 1 tsp matcha
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

Add all ingredients to the blender. Blend until smooth.

Notes

I love topping these smoothies with shredded coconut and granola.
